A display feature is not fitted to every Audi

Audi documents an optional augmented-reality head-up display for the Q4 e-tron family. If your own Audi projects information onto the windscreen, include that in the enquiry. The example does not mean every A3, A4, A6, Q3 or Q5 has the same display or glass.

Photograph the fittings, not just the crack

A clear close-up of the damage helps assess its extent. A second view of the whole screen and mirror-area fittings helps identify what is mounted to the glass. Mention heating or rain-sensing wipers if fitted, and give the registration and year if known.

Know what the quote covers

Confirm the proposed glass, any equipment-related work, the mobile location and the waiting time after installation. Camera requirements and arrangements are discussed for the specific vehicle. The price is agreed after these checks rather than estimated from the Audi badge alone.
